Service Description

6 day/5 night women's retreat on Big Island. Led by sisters Inika, Raven and S BIO "Raven Lakins is an author, poet and Soul Guide. She holds a Bachelors degree in Therapeutic Recreation and a Masters degree in Transpersonal Psychology, and is working on furthering her graduate studies in Jungian and Depth Psychology. She has been trained as herbalist and finds great healing in the natural world and its medicine. Raven has also been ordained as a minister with several organizations, and has offered workshops and ceremonial dance performances in service of these organizations. She currently works with others in exploring their shadow worlds through the use of tarot, dreamwork, nature- based and art therapies. More information can be found through her website: https://shadowartshealing.wordpress.com/" Inika Spence-Whaley, Healing Dance teacher 📚 I am a senior instructor, teaching all the classes of Healing Dance®. I also teach WATSU® I and II and Aquatic Contact Dance. I have been an aquatic body worker since 1996, working at Harbin Hot Springs as a WATSU, WaterDance and Healing Dance Practitioner. I have over 2800 hours of training and over 4500 hours teaching aquatic bodywork. I have been teaching WATSU and Healing Dance since 1999. I studied Somatic Experiencing, a body-based trauma therapy, in 2007. It has informed my aquatic bodywork, creating a safe environment for traumas to be revealed and possibly let go. With colleague, Diane Tegtmeier, we teach AquaPresence for Trauma, an introduction to trauma-informed aquatic bodywork. Healing Dance is a major part of that class. During my 20 years at Harbin Hot Springs, I became the Director of the Harbin School of Healing Arts, a massage school that featured aquatic bodywork. When Harbin burned in 2015 I moved, with my husband, to the Big Island of Hawaii where I teach and give sessions. 🌊 Syntha Lorenz Syntha is a licensed Marriage Family Therapist in Hawaii and California and Registered Expressive Arts Therapist. She has established herself professionally in the psychotherapy world for over 22 years. She has been a devout student of Spirit her entire life. She also holds a ministry credential and lives in sacred space and ritual. She loves to co-create sacred space and ritual for others for all sorts of life transitions. “I have experience and training in both worlds, traditional and non-traditional. I have dived deep into the psyche where Jungian psychology and Shamanism meet in the Mystery.”
